Alignment keeps us all headed in the same direction. We must be in constant alignment to keep pace with fast change, disruptive competitive forces, and geographically distributed teams. It isn’t just a ‘nice to have,’ it’s a must-have for us to compete and thrive in the digital age.  Alignment enables empowerment, autonomy, and decentralized decision-making, allowing those who implement value to make better local decisions. The more alignment you have, the more empowerment you enable.

Built-in Quality

Ensuring a quality product, process, or service does not mean reviewing a completed offering just before delivery. The costs for fixing issues increase dramatically the longer they exist. Instead, we must identify and implement quality standards throughout the development process. This can be achieved through five primary dimensions.

When we work transparently, we know why we are doing what we’re doing and how our work impacts other teams and products. When issues arise, we vocalize the issues and work together to resolve them.

No team, or even team of teams, alone can create successful offerings and be responsive to change in today’s environment of digital disruption.
